A podiatrist is a medical professional, specially trained in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of foot problems. Although primarily concerned with the foot health of a patient, the podiarist is also mindful of his/her total health needs. When necessary, podiatrist will consult with the patient's primary care physician or other specialist.
